EYE CARE PROFESSIONALS

Vision Is Priceless relies on the support of local Eye Care Professionals to provide eye exams and specialty exams for our clients in need of vision care that are uninsured and underserved. Vision Is Priceless is grateful to have the support of doctors and hope you will consider volunteering at any capacity.

Clinics

Held about 8 times a year, Vision Is Priceless holds vision clinics to provide our qualified clients with an eye exam and prescription glasses. We send out an email blast to see who is interested in volunteering, and we typically need up to six doctors (depending on the clinic) for either a half or full day. There is no minimum or maximum to the number of times you can choose to volunteer at a clinic. Sovereign Immunity is available if you choose, and Vision Is Priceless will manage the paperwork.

If you are interested in volunteering, you may fill out this provider agreement form or email us.

In office services

Many of our volunteer doctors prefer to see our qualified clients in their office during a normal business day. Vision Is Priceless provides an agreement for the doctor to choose a set number of appointments they are comfortable with donating. You may choose to include glasses in your donation; otherwise, Vision Is Priceless will purchase glasses through a vendor. Vision Is Priceless’ case manager coordinates directly with your office manager to schedule the appointment and VIP will communicate the appointment details directly with the patient. Sovereign Immunity is also available and Vision Is Priceless will manage all the paperwork.

If you are interested in volunteering, contact our Program Director to volunteer for a clinic by email at gro.s1511252790selec1511252790irPsI1511252790noisi1511252790V@lyr1511252790ehC1511252790 or call 904.308.2020.

Both ways of volunteering support the organization in tremendous ways! Currently we have over 60 eye care professionals supporting providing access to vision care services for those in need.  We still have a need for more volunteers as our waiting list for services grows.
