Cared Vision Program
When a vision problem is detected during a screening, the screener generally advises the individual to see an eye care professional for further evaluation and corrective action. Some patients may be eligible to receive part or all of these services at no cost, thanks to the Cared Vision Network. It's a special cooperative effort between the Vision Is Priceless Council and a growing network of local eye care professionals who've agreed to serve qualified clients free of charge.
- The Cared Vision Network helps link eligible adults and children with free or low-cost eye examinations
- Free or low-cost eyeglasses (lenses and frames) are provided through a unique partnership with local ophthalmologists, optometrists and opticians
- Participating eye care professionals operate out of dozens of convenient offices throughout Northeast Florida
